A busy year welcoming our first families, friends – and music legends Sister Sledge – to Ewe Time Holiday Barn!

By Ma Baa

We opened to our first guests at the end of July and since then have been rushed off our trotters hosting large groups of families and friends – as well as pop royalty Sister Sledge – at our self catering holiday accommodation.

After lots of delays caused by Covid-19 we were finally able to welcome guests from all over the country and overseas who were eager to reunite with family and friends after more than a year of coronavirus restrictions and ruined plans. We have had more than 330 people through our doors!

And we have been overwhelmed by all the positive reviews and comments from our visitors who have told us they loved the wood-fired hot tub, the spacious living areas that are great for socialising, the en-suite bathrooms, the local pub, our farm animal petting area and the friendly villagers of Kelbrook, Lancashire.

We have had a variety of groups, from couples with babies and young children, to gatherings of up to 24 adults, staying for short breaks or full weeks, for holidays or celebrations such as special birthdays or anniversaries – the venue is versatile and can cater for any occasion.

In September we were very excited to host a very different group – 1970s pop icon Debbie Sledge and her band, who were touring the UK delighting audiences with their hits including We Are Family and Lost in Music. Although I failed to persuade Debbie to have a ride on the tractor, she did wear my sheep-themed apron!

So as our first year comes to a close, we say a massive thank ewe to our guests from 2021 and look forward to welcoming and getting to know our new guests for 2022. We hope to help them enjoy some fabulous “ewe and me time” and make precious memories at our lovely Ewe Time Holiday Barn.

Ewe Time Holiday Barn launched on Group Accommodation website

By Ma Baa

We are excited to announce that our page advertising Ewe Time Holiday Barn as the perfect venue for a family gathering or staycation has gone live on the Groupaccommodation.com website.

We are now taking bookings from spring 2020.

The GA website specialises in properties that sleep more than 10 people and was the ideal place for us to showcase our barn, which can host 14 to 20 guests (with an extra 4 beds available).

It’s going to be a fantastic time for guests to be arriving on the farm as we will be expecting several cute new arrivals of the furry and feathered kind in April.

Fingers crossed we will be hatching some chicks thanks to our new cockerel Rodney, and welcoming some spring lambs sired by our new “rasta ram” Bob.
